HISTORY

Until 2007, Asia for Animals was a biennial animal welfare conference, the first of which was held in  Manila, Philipines, in 2001. This was followed by Hong Kong in 2003 and Singapore in 2005.

AfA Manila was co-sponsored by IFAW, HSI, HK SPCA, and Philipine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) - all of whom have been continuing their sponsorship for subsequent AfAs.

AfA 2007 was organised by the Blue Cross of India. The AfA 2008 is currently sponsored by:
